Finally! Eisenman's Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe opens! This memorial is amazing. I've really been wanting to see it... plus, now I have even more of a reason to go back to Berlin. I'm hoping to post more later tonite...

Last year, he completed the graceful Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas , and his firm, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, is now working on the Morgan Library expansion in New York City; the High Museum Expansion in Atlanta; the Chicago Art Institute north wing addition; the California Academy of Sciences expansion in San Francisco; and the expansion of Harvard’s Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Everything's coming up Renzo and Architectural Record wonders why. I think he does great work - thoughtful and sensitive. His museums and galleries really create a backdrop that truly accommodates the art and enhances the viewing experience. These aren't Rock 'N' Roll skyline signatures - they don't need to be.
