"Scent of a Meuron"
According to Aric Chen of The Architect's Newspaper, uber-hip starchitects Herzog & de Meuron have decided to do for scent what they've done for architecture. Sounds like a great idea right? Well, maybe not... "We want to destabilize our prejudices about smells, just like we try to do with our architecture," said Herzog...or maybe it was de Meuron, I can never keep those two straight. Anyway, they've just released "Rotterdam," a limited edition, unisex perfume. The first in a series of scents based on world cities. So what exatly does "Rotterdam" smell like? (get ready for this) "...tangs of, among other things, patchouli, cinnamon, Rhine water, dog, and shit."
That's right. Shit.
